The latest version of OS PAL, release 1.2, is now available. OS PAL (OS Porting and Abstraction Lab) integrates OS Abstractor and OS Changer in an Eclipse® IDE for application development on a host platform using legacy or OS Abstractor APIs and provides a code optimizer to produce code optimized for specific target operating systems.
This release adds support to produce optimized code for the Nucleus® and ThreadX® operating systems. The new release of OS PAL also includes an online update manager to make it easier to receive the latest bug fixes and feature enhancements as they become available. Bill Wasserman was appointed Director of Sales and will lead sales efforts from the Raleigh, North Carolina, office. A recipient of a BSEE degree from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), Mr. Wasserman brings over 20 years of high technology sales experience to the position.
